The New Beautiful Minds Studio
I am extremely creative and I love doing crafts. When I was pursuing my Masters in Clinical Psychology, I came across differently abled individuals working on various crafts. That triggered a thought in my mind - there must be something I can do to help these individuals showcase their wonderful creations to the world. Twenty years later, I started Beautiful Minds, a store that provides a marketing platform for products made by differently abled individuals.
We source products from NGO's handling such individuals across India. In the past few months, we have also begun engaging and encouraging differently abled artists to create our own in house products. This gives these artists a steady source of income, and the opportunity to explore their artistic talents. The products made in house are all high quality, sophisticated, and creative - something we consider essential to our signature style.
I had once dreamed of a well designed studio where differently abled artists could work with me to create unique pieces of art & craft. Recently, I created just that; a cozy studio, surrounded with nature, adequate light where the materials are organized and easily accessible. It is a space that invites the artist to walk in and get creative.
On weekends, the studio is buzzing with activity when workshops are conducted for children by differently abled artists. Anyone who enters this studio discovers more about their own creativity, and that brings me great joy.
For me, being creative is not a hobby; it is a way of life. Pursuing art and creativity is something I love to make possible for as many people as I can.
